Hi! I’m Danielle

I’m a trauma-informed speaker, speaker & wellness coach, somatic practitioner and doula with a background in electrical engineering. I help high-achieving, heart-weary people break free from chronic stress, trauma, and survival mode so they can reclaim rest, freedom, and authentic living. Through private coaching, transformative retreats, and my sought-after talks, I guide clients toward whole health: mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual.

My journey into this healing work began with profound personal loss—the death of my one-year-old son, Chase, in 2013. In my debut book, Joy in the Mourning, I share reflections from my first decade in the school of grief—a season that shaped my calling to support others through stress, trauma, and life’s most difficult transitions. With a deep belief in the body’s wisdom, I facilitate restorative breath and body practices that promote nervous system care, regulation, and embodied healing.

Rooted in joy, vulnerability, and community, I’m on a mission to help people practice self-care and communal care as acts of healing and resistance. I have partnered with organizations including Reach Records, the Lady Hawks, the NFL Player’s Association, Kids Across America, and Truth’s Table. A mom of four, Rice University graduate, and self-proclaimed gummy-bear snob, I live in Dallas, TX. When I’m not speaking or coaching, I’m likely reading a good book, watching a movie, or enjoying time outdoors.

“Self-care requires a unique approach to holistic wellness. Danielle is that unique and rare person.”
